“Kenya has been rated Level 1 Low Level of Covid by the CDC. That's the best rating the CDC applies. Entry requirements recently change in that you are required to be fully vaccinated to enter Kenya. Those who are fully vaccinated are no longer required to get a PCR test for entry, although you still need a test to return to the USA.
Masks are still required on planes, etc. and indoors.
On safari, you have little contact with "local" people.
You travel in your own vehicles with your own group.
The lodges have been pro-active in getting staff vaccinated as well as using masks, distancing, etc.
And on safari you are outdoors so much of the day, and not in crowds.”
